About Fabienne

Born and educated in France, Fabienne Guichon-Lindholm has worked in the beauty industry for 20 years, earning a CIDESCO International diploma from the International Beauty Therapy Association, as well as a French National Diploma. Additionally, she holds numerous certifications and licenses including Thai Massage, Reiki Practitioner, Esthetician and Massage Therapist. Lindholm’s foundation began with 13 years of spa management experience, including Mario Tricoci Salon and Spa and the Hotel Fitz Roy Relais et Chateau in France. Lindholm eventually launched Spa Source ltd., a consultancy agency for resort and day spas, responsible for developing training programs for estheticians and massage therapists. The company provided direction for Spa Shiki at The Lodge of the Four Seasons, the corporate spa of Oprah Winfrey in Chicago, as well as many others. In 1999 Lindholm joined Decléor USA as Territory Brand Manager, responsible for developing and expanding the company’s Midwestern business, and was promoted to National Director of Education for Decléor and Carita in 2003. Lindholm was then named Director of Business Development in 2004, where she was responsible for creating training and marketing programs to further develop the Decléor and Carita brands. Lindholm began consulting for the Elysian Hotel Spa in 2004, before being brought in full time to develop the entire spa concept in October 2007. She developed exclusive treatments, selected product lines and handled spa operations and management. A recognized leader in the spa industry, Lindholm has presented numerous guest lectures to The International Congress of Esthetics. She has also written articles for several publications, including for Conde Nast, Lucky, Marie Claire and many professional spa magazines. In addition, Lindholm is on the Soma Institute Advisory Board, and a Co-Chair for the ISPA (International Spa Association) “Speaker task force” to choose the speakers for their annual conference. Ms. Guichon-Lindholm’s wellness philosophy has been shaped by her extensive travel throughout Southeast Asia, Europe and North America, and her exploration and fascination with each culture. Her unique and creative approach to solutions in the competitive spa business has helped many. She is married and lives on the edge of Chicago with her husband and two children.
